- QCan I use the repaired vessel for eating and drinking?
- AYes. Since we use traditional natural urushi lacquer, the vessel is food-safe once completely cured. However, please avoid using it in microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, or other high-heat appliances.
- Q Is "Urushi" lacquer safe to handle? I heard it can cause rashes.
- A Uncured urushi lacquer can cause skin rashes if it comes into direct contact with your skin. Please ensure to wear the nitrile gloves included in the kit during the process to prevent direct skin contact.
- QCan I use this kit to repair my own broken pieces?
- AYes, the tools included in the kit are reusable. Even if you run out of gold powder, you can continue your repairs using the included silver powder.
